Hello. I hope this email finds you and yours in good health. 
I don't know if you recall me or not. You once sent me the Civil War pension files for 
Benjamin F Dorrough 
my GGGrandfather.
I have contacted David L Dorrough and a few others to inquire as to the status of the 
Dorough Family Assoc.
The Dorough/Dorrough Chronicle and future plans for Dorough Family gatherings. 
It seems since Robert died things have come to a halt. 
I still receive quite a few emails of interest but we seem to have lost our direction.
I have done a bit more research on the origin of the Dorough name. I am attaching 3 files. 
Two are research and one is a copy of an application to register our Dorough name with the 
Clan Registry Office in Ireland. 
I believe my research will qualify us for registration. As you will see by the form we need
 Clan officers to submit. 
I know you are a director for the family Association and I was curious if you would 
care to add your name to the lists of officers for the Clan. 
If you are interested and you think the idea has merit please let me know. 
Also any critique on my research you may have time for would be greatly respected.
